How Dare to Dream Argentina Began
Every sporting dream begins somewhere.
For Dare to Dream Argentina, it began with a simple invitation shared through Instagram: tell us about your passion for sport, your personal journey and the dream you hope to achieve.
Created by Timeless Passion, the initiative was designed to find and support one person in Argentina whose story reflected determination, authenticity and a genuine love for sport.
The response exceeded our expectations.
Applications began arriving from across the country, each one carrying a different story, challenge and ambition. Some participants dreamed of competing professionally. Others wanted access to better training, equipment or opportunities that had previously felt out of reach.
Among all the applications, one story stood out immediately.
Meeting Ticiano Benavidez
Ticiano Benavidez is a 13-year-old runner from Santa Fe who lives with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
For Ticiano, running is much more than physical activity. It gives him a sense of freedom, confidence and connection. It is a space where he can focus, express himself and feel fully present.
Ticiano first discovered the Dare to Dream Argentina campaign through content shared on social media. His story quickly became one of the most viewed and supported applications submitted to the project.
There was something deeply sincere in the way he spoke about running and what it meant to him.
After reviewing all the applications, Timeless Passion selected Ticiano as the winner of Dare to Dream Argentina.
The goal was not simply to award him a prize. It was to support his sporting journey and create meaningful experiences that could remain with him long after the races were over.
The First Major Milestone: Santiago del Estero
Ticiano’s first major experience as part of the project took place at La Ciudad Corre 10K, held in Santiago del Estero on 12 July 2026.
The journey involved much more than arriving at the starting line.
Timeless Passion supported the family with the organisation of the trip, accommodation, race participation, insurance and the logistics required to make the experience possible. Ticiano also received a GPS sports watch to support his future training.
Throughout the event, a dedicated production team followed his journey with photography, video and drone footage. From the preparations before the race to the moment he crossed the finish line, the entire day was documented.
But the most important part of the experience could not be measured through race statistics.
It was visible in Ticiano’s smile.
More Than a 10K Race
The atmosphere in Santiago del Estero transformed the race into something far greater than a sporting event.
Ticiano was surrounded by runners, organisers and supporters who welcomed him with warmth and encouragement. He experienced the energy of a major race, the anticipation at the start and the satisfaction of completing the full 10-kilometre distance.
For his family, watching him run was an emotional moment.
The event represented a chance for Ticiano to challenge himself, experience a new environment and show what he was capable of achieving. Every kilometre became part of a much larger story about confidence, inclusion and opportunity.
His mother later described the experience as a day he would remember for the rest of his life.
The Moment That Defined the Day
One of the most powerful moments happened after the race.
Nacho, the winner of the competition, presented Ticiano with his own first-place trophy.
It was an unexpected gesture that immediately became one of the defining images of the entire project.
The trophy was not simply an award. It represented recognition, respect and support from one runner to another.
For Ticiano and his family, the gesture carried enormous emotional meaning. It made an already unforgettable day even more special and showed how sport can bring people together beyond rankings, finishing times and competition.
Nacho had also played an important role at the beginning of Dare to Dream Argentina. His support helped the campaign reach a wider audience and generated a significant number of applications.
In many ways, the project came full circle when the person who had helped Ticiano discover the campaign stood beside him at the finish line.
A Day That Will Stay With Him Forever
The Santiago del Estero experience demonstrated what Dare to Dream Argentina was created to achieve.
It was not only about helping someone enter a race.
It was about giving a young athlete the opportunity to travel, compete, feel supported and experience a day built around his passion.
For Ticiano, it meant stepping into a new environment and completing an important personal challenge. For his family, it meant seeing him celebrated for his determination and ability.
For everyone involved in the project, it was a reminder that meaningful support can create memories that last far beyond a single event.
The Journey Continues in August
Santiago del Estero was only the first milestone.
Ticiano is now preparing for his next challenge: a trail race in Villa Carlos Paz in August 2026.
Trail running will offer him a completely different experience, with new terrain, new physical demands and another opportunity to continue growing as a runner.
Timeless Passion will continue supporting his journey, together with the partners and people who have helped make these experiences possible.
The next race will mark another step forward, but the purpose remains the same: helping Ticiano pursue his passion, strengthen his confidence and continue building his own sporting story.
This Is What It Means to Dare to Dream
Ticiano’s journey began with an Instagram application.
It led him to Santiago del Estero, across a 10-kilometre course and toward a finish line surrounded by people who believed in him.
The race may have ended, but the dream continues.
And in August, Ticiano will take the next step.
