Personal Background and Career
- Can you share some insights about your professional path and how you became a Key Account Manager in the fast-paced world of iGaming?
I jumped into the iGaming industry with my very first full-time job, having absolutely no idea what to expect! Before becoming an Account Manager with Amigo, I started out in a beginning position as a customer support agent for a sportsbook operator in the Philippines. Everything was new to me, and there was so much to learn. Over time, I’ve gathered a lot of knowledge and experience in this field, and now here I am—an AM with Amigo! It’s crazy to think it’s been almost six years in the iGaming world, and I’ve had a blast along the way. This industry has brought me so much fun, and I’ve enjoyed every moment with the amazing people I’ve met along the way!
- What do you find most exciting about managing key accounts in the iGaming sector?
Is there a specific part of your role that you enjoy the most, whether it’s building relationships or seeing the impact of Amigo Gaming’s products on your clients?
I’d say yes, absolutely! Like many others, I think the most fun and enjoyable part of this role is connecting with people. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients isn’t just about the job—it often turns into genuine friendships, which makes it even more rewarding. For me, the most exciting (and challenging!) part is figuring out how to hit my goals, especially with the fast-paced changes and the constant need to stay on top of trends and keep learning.
- Are you from Barcelona, or did the iGaming industry draw you to this city? How has living and working in Barcelona influenced your career in gaming?
I’m not originally from Barcelona—I’m from Thailand! But the iGaming industry has given me the chance to explore different cities and cultures, starting with the Philippines and now in sunny Barcelona. Living and working here has really helped me understand European culture, both in terms of daily life and career perspectives.
In the iGaming sector, I’ve noticed that every region—whether it’s Asia, Europe, LATAM, or CIS—operates in its own unique way. Working with Amigo and alongside my fantastic colleagues has given me valuable insights into how these markets function and how best to collaborate with them. And of course, collaborating with amazing and professional partners like you at Timeless Tech has been a big part of that learning experience!
The Beginning of the Partnership
- How did the partnership between Amigo Gaming and Timeless Tech come about? What was your role in establishing this collaboration?
Even though I wasn’t part of the initial stages when we started our partnership, I’ve seen how strong our relationship has become since then. Now, as an Account Manager with Timeless Tech, I’m excited to be playing a crucial role in our growth together, and it feels like we’re getting stronger every day! - From your perspective, how does Amigo Gaming differentiate itself from other gaming providers, and what drew you to be part of their journey?
I think Amigo Gaming stands out for a few reasons. Our games have a classic yet captivating design that hooks players, and we focus on a player-centric approach to keep them engaged. We understand different markets well, tailoring our games for regions like Latam, CIS, the Balkans, and Asia, and we support various currencies and languages to make all players feel at home. At Amigo, what I love the most is the incredible work culture and the quality of its products. The company genuinely cares for its employees, fostering a family-like atmosphere and providing great working conditions. I felt a strong connection from the start, and it made me excited to be part of this journey!
- What excites you most about Amigo Gaming’s product offerings, and how does it reflect the company's approach to iGaming innovation?
I get really excited when I see something new in our products. Amigo is always developing and implementing fresh ideas. In the iGaming industry, everything moves fast, and we have to keep up with the latest trends. Amigo is great at staying on top of innovations, especially in slots. We’ve got a solid roadmap for developing our products to stay trendy and even introduce something new to the market. So, stay tuned!
Future Expectations
- As the iGaming industry continues to grow, what innovations or changes do you think will play the biggest role in shaping its future?
I really see AI becoming a big player soon. It’s going to impact all industries, not just iGaming. While I’m not an expert on backend technology to dive into the details of AI’s role, I’ve noticed that it’s already helping game developers with things like visual graphics, character design and more. As the iGaming industry continues to grow rapidly, I believe AI will play an even more crucial role, especially when it comes to driving innovation.
- With emerging technologies such as blockchain and AI making their way into gaming, how do you see Amigo Gaming adapting to these new opportunities?
I think that using these technologies in a strategical way will really help us come up with new ideas faster, improve quality, and make gaming experiences more personalized. With the right approach, we can unlock a lot of exciting opportunities and stay ahead in the gaming industry.
- How is Amigo Gaming planning to expand its presence in new markets, and what challenges do you anticipate in this process?
We’re always looking for ways to grow our brand and expand our reach. While we already operate globally, we’re also preparing to enter more local markets. Our focus is on tailoring our products to meet the specific needs of each market, and we’re working on securing the necessary licenses to enter key regulated regions. Of course, there are challenges along the way—like limited resources, time, or navigating the complexities of compliance and local requirements—but we’re committed to pushing through all these steps to reach our goals.
Personal Insights
- Outside of work, what inspires you personally, and how do you bring that inspiration into your role at Amigo Gaming?
I’m really excited about the opportunity to study Chinese! Thanks to a kind offer from the company, I can finally start my Chinese classes. Growing up in a Chinese family in Thailand and not being able to speak the language has always felt a bit like a missed opportunity for me. This really inspires me to learn! I’m sure it will be a great asset in my role at Amigo, as I’ll be able to communicate with all my Chinese-speaking clients.
- The iGaming industry is fast-paced. How do you stay grounded and maintain balance in your personal life while excelling in your professional role?
I really prioritize my work-life balance. When I'm at work, I put all my dedication and effort into what I do. But outside of work, I make it a point to clear my head and enjoy life. This balance helps me stay focused on achieving my work goals while also allowing me to engage in activities that keep me happy and prevent burnout.
- When you’re not working on expanding Amigo Gaming’s presence, how do you relax and stay inspired for the projects ahead?
I absolutely love traveling and always plan a few trips each year! For my regular routine, I enjoy playing games and watching movies and series. All these experiences really inspire me and spark new ideas for my projects.
